Low carb diet helped me a lot in reducing body fat. i heard that low carb diet also increases the lifespan of a person because of reduced free radical formation.

Hey. About your piece on tempeh, you wrote that fermentation reduced phytoestrogens in soy. Fermentation definetly lowers antinutrient-content, but with phytoestrogens, it seems to lower the content somewhat, but increase bioavailability of it, according to this study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7722188.
I too try to eat as much low-carb and vegan as possible, and I would sure love if soy were less controversial. Soy has so many advantages, but unfortunately it's The legume with the highest amount of antinutrients and phytoestrogens. I seriously hope new alternatives will be more common soon. I'm longin' for the day that hempseed-tofu and lupin-tempeh can be thrown in the basket...

@<a href="http://www.lowcarbvegan.com/blog/sweet-and-sour-tempeh/#comment-25" rel="nofollow"> kpop_rubba</a>:

In my family the rule is my mother makes the dressing, no exceptions unless you want to end up at the kidie table! :) So I haven't really ever considered a low carb stuffing. About the only two things that spring to mind are use lots of vegetables and/or low carb bread.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help but if you come up with something good, let us know.

Cool tips!
I have a great old wooden chopping board - it's HUGE and permanently lives on my counter top. I've never heard of oiling it before so thanks for this.
My chopping board is gonna get some loving tomorrow.
